That's exactly what I love about YTMNDs like these. I will NEVER hear this song again without thinking of the Dew version, making a funny experience out of a nightmarish one.
Looks nice, Max. Are there any ways that Flash can detect desktop resolution and shape/size the text to match? My monitor is set to 1280 x 800, and in full screen mode the text is pushed up and to the left, as seen here: http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/512/ytmndrl8.jpg. There are a few YTMNDs out there that depend on precise positioning of the text.
For the record. I completely disagree about fads. I love original YTMNDs too, but a good running gag with reinterpretations is awesome. Granted, this is from two years ago and I think YTMND was more overrun with fads then than it is now, but I digress.
I'm fiving this anyways because I really thought it was Kermit until the lyrics changed. Then I was just amazed.
This is exactly the kind of the kind of attention (and ammunition) that an ambulance chaser like Thompson WANTS. Calling him with insults, threats, etc. is harassment. Calling him to present a sound, rational argument may not be, but Thompson will treat it as such anyhow. Even if your identity is protected, you harm your cause by contacting him. Good effort, but needs the NEDM music. Having his response turn out to be correct would be a better and unexpected twist for those who've seen the source material.
This is awesome. Almost makes me wish I was still in school. But from another point of view, MAN am I glad I'm done with school and don't have to put up with meaningless papers any more!
5'd because of the made-for-YTMND edit. The (missing) beginning and middle parts are funny, but this is more accessible to people who aren't Weird Al freaks like me. Good job! LOL @ "is that a real store?"
As Gizzowf pointed out, the fact that the intersection(s) running perpendicular to Ronald's direction of travel are the ones with red lights, logic would dictate that Ronald is driving through green lights. No infractions at all, except perhaps speeding.
