It's a good remix, but the only "Untitled"-related thing someone could do to get a 5 from me by this point would be for them to round up my favorite recording artists, and have them do a cover of the song that raises at least $15 million for AIDS research.
The BME Pain Olympics is worse. If you do scat porn, you can take a shower, wash your mouth out good, and it'll be like it never happened. Your penis is going to be bisected forever.
Which one has the commercials with their inventor, named "Tom Cruise"? He'd be the real one, Tom Cruise the actor isn't actually named that (his birth name, I believe, was Xzule, Champion of the Thetans).
He's at Blockbuster and not sure whether to rent "Oh God!" starring George Burns, or "Oh Man!" (Is there a movie called that? This comment kinda doesn't work otherwise)
Replace the music with "Automatic" by the Pointer Sisters and I'll five. Not because it's the Malibu Club music in the game, but because it's a damn catchy song.
I had two ideas for the front page. First, some sort of "Sites you Might Like" section. I think the vote prediction thing is neat, but it isn't being put to a good use. My idea was to put ten random sites that have a predicted vote of 4 or more on a user's front page, as a kind of a personalized Worthwhile Sites. The second was a U&C-ish section for users with less than 5-10 sites, to highlight content by new users that might otherwise be overshadowed by more established users with large followings.
Since nobody likes seeing sites they hate on the front page while preferences from user to user vary, my idea for the front page would be for personal preference to trump site rating. If there's a site on Top Rated, U&C, or Top Viewed, and you vote one or two on it, it should be hidden on your front page as long as you're logged in, with it's spot on Top Rated, U&C, or Top Viewed being taken by whatever was bubbling under the front page. At the same time, someone who wants to see it for a week can do so.
This just seems trite and redundant, as he died 18 years ago, it's not an anniversary of his death right now, and he has doubtlessly been paid tribute too countless times. It plays like a junior high school project.
I'd say the featured user box is fundamentally flawed, in the way that 90% of users with featured status don't make sites anymore. I say replace it either with Worthwhile or a "favorite user" box (perhaps have both "recent sites from favorite users" and "random sites from favorite users" options, in case someone's favorite users aren't active anymore).
Seriously, was anyone expecting Ron Paul's Internet presence to result in a win? I figured it was common knowledge that Ron Paul was the Snakes on a Plane of presidential candidates.
Would it be possible to automatically retire sites from appearing on Top Viewed after they're more than a week old? I figured that it would make sense since Sponsored and Top Rated work on a weekly basis as well. Besides, I've seen like five sites from over a year ago show up there in the past two weeks.
I was glad when the Worthwhile section was removed because it always seemed to bring up lousy sites, although I like the basic concept after thinking about it more. I'd be all for bringing it back if the requirements were more restrictive (like, say, a minimum 4.1 rating, 10,000 views, and 500 votes).
