MKenney please provide me with a link of the original so I can remove this YTMND :) I'd hate to be a copycat (not intended to be one though: I did search for likewise YTMND's and found none)
Exactly, iamthenra. It would be highly arrogant to assume that we know all about how the universe works and that what we can see/measure is really the way things are. "Stephen Hawking - the Universe in a Nutshell", a good read and certainly worth the effort.
Hmm, not that much of a strong argument really... 'Before' the Big Bang, todays laws of physics may have not been effective at all. We simply aren't able (yet..?) to predict anything before the time in which our universe was created. How can you define 'being' in a 'time' when there even wasn't some sort of 'time' as we know it? The whole logic of causes and action/reaction isn't that logical anymore in the 'time before' the Big Bang.
Wake up and smell the coffee: there is no God, merely a philosophical one: an explanation for everything man doesn't comprehend (yet), fully created by man himself.
+1 for NEDM though :D
