regarding the standby "well why not animals and little children?" slippery slope argument that seems to be the frequent end of these discussions: just wanted to point out that marriage is a contract. legally, animals and children cannot enter into contracts, therefore the line is drawn there. as for poligamy: if it works for them, i see no legal reason why those people should not be allowed to enter into those situations.
