saw it thursday night. (could have gone tuesday night but didn't want to go alone.) at my theater (union square, NYC) people all yelled along with leonidas "this is sparta" and cheered and clapped, etc. i normally can't stand that sh*t but it's not like 300 was the intellectual movie of the year, so i didn't really have to pay attention.

yeah, nicely done, but it's not like hollywood's lack of originality is something new.
