I can understand many of your views on Lincoln and would have to agree with a several of them, some of them, however, I completely disagree with. But when it comes to FDR, I'm sorry, but you're almost completely wrong. Especially how you describe the "Great Depression" in American history as a "Flourishing Capitalist Economy." I would love for anyone to have told that to all the families in the dust bowl and all those stock brokers right before killed themselves when the stock market crashed.
Check your historical facts again, buddy. It was because of things like the gold standard and the fact there was no Federal insurance on bank accounts that caused the depression in the first place and made it worsen. That little FDIC sticker at all banks that insures each account for $120,000, FDR and his Brain Trust started that. Look at the facts, as soon as FDR implemented his "Alphabet Soup" and pumped jobs into the economy it began improving immediately and it saved millions from starving to death.
