Hey! Hey! Atashi ni wa wakatteru?
No way! No way! Himitsu ja nai!
Hey! Hey! Atashi ga natte ageru!
Where do you get off judging the amount of work I put into my submissions!? I've spent nearly a day straight trying to adapt cooke's genuis into my design and I would very much like a little more appreciation for it than a "2 for effort". God, you make me sick!
After hours of shuffling frames here and stretching out delays there, I think that what I've got now is the best sync I could achieve. I have a reasonable sync for about two runs of the music file and if after that I am starting to come out of phase I just jiggle the cursor a bit and it falls back into sync. I hope that you still have interest in viewing what I have to contribute to YTMND in the future. I also hope that you can help McQueen Make the top of the list or even break into the Hall Of Fame.
Dear All: I have tweaked the sync again and it's looking a little better. The user from which the visual and the sound originated has also told me that he couldn't get the sync perfect either.
Some of you may have seen this already, but after someone hacked into YTMND showing an inappropriate image, I thought it necessary to relaunch the site.
I realize that it is a bit confusing for anyone who has grown up in a typical 3-D environment to accept the perspective of this scene. I view it as a sort of Escheresque view of the world.
I've adjusted the sync as best as I could by speeding up the film a bit. Unfortunately, I am unfamiliar with how "flash loading" is executed, so I can only hope that the sync is a bit more bearable now. True Genius?
I agree that the Halo music isn't quite the best match in the whole wide world, but I needed something quiet and relaxing to establish a Zen-like atmosphere. If anyone else has a similar difficulty with the pairing, I advise that you just turn down the volume.
I've always wanted to make one of these, but the camera tricks were always so difficult. Let me know how it strikes you all. The power of the Great Osaka compels you.
