Because I think that the Barnacles can strangle people or crush bones before they actually reach the Barnicles mouth. Plus, Gordon is awesome, and in a way, he's actually thousands of people. And I think that he's strong enough to flip Sam over from that position.

I know better and quicker ways to crash a server. You can spawn an Airboat and some Rollermines, and have the Rollermines attach to the Airboat. (You may need to get in the Airboat.) Another is to feed a Poison Zombie to a Barnacle. Same thing with a Rollermine. Killing a Stalker crashes the server, period.
