just memorize the lyrics to the bill nye theme song and you'll be alright. (inertia is a property of matter)

I wonder what the 'dv / dt' was for that jump?

-9.8 m/s^2 (you neglect drag)
November 9th, 2009

Or with drag: F = m(dv/dt) = k*(dx/dt)^n , Where k is a constant, and n is some power. So we have average earth gravity F = g, so the net force is going to be: -g + k*(dx/dt)^(n) = The net acceleration. Having an n term as a power makes it not generally solvable, so you model whatever is closest....usually an "n" of two for spheres. Anyone following? ...Anyone? I am so alone...

You said the force and acceleration equations are the same. You've gotta divide the force equation by the falling man's mass first before you get the acceleration. Bonus points to anyone who can tell me what the motion equations for the chunks of gore at the end of the animation are.

Max Planck > Max Goldberg. That's all you need to know, dork.

Aye, it appears my m's fell out. However, it is only going to show as a k/m and the rest out be the same.

this f*cking sucks. the student killed him or herself over a test at school. put your animation skills to better use. think up something that isnt so BEENDONEANDUNFUNNY (all one word)

That kid must be a f*g, 'cause physics is awesome.

the size proportion feels off vs/ the way he comes out of the tower... that's one hell of a leap away from the tower, guess he didn't need physics after all.

Cool site. Reminds me of the good ol' days when TYNMD (acronym, palindrome) was just a site where math and science aficionado's could get together to tell jokes and unleash they're creative side, and NOT all political humor... (george bush, barack obama) Like Van Halen once said you might as well jump.

Apparently the kid can't pass physics or play Lemmings.
