Which is pretty goddamn FAST. Anyway, this is an awesome, praise and 5 star worthy site, as it speaks the utter truth.

would ytmnd be better without moon man? no. would ytmnd be better without 99.9% of moon man sites? yes. moon man sites don't really hearken back to early ytmnd's because most early ytmnd's were static images with text and found audio whereas most moon man sites are animated gifs with no text and user created audio. also most early ytmnd's were creative and most moon man sites are derivative.

I guess this is what you think YTMND is supposed to be... http://foldblank.ytmnd.com/

no that sucked. i am not saying the old sites were better than ones people make today; i am just questioning the claim that moon man sites are a throwback to early ytmnd.

my point is sort of that Moon Man has the sort of early-fad quality that started with the Khan sites. also, Moon Man is a continuity. the constant flow of sites creates a living breathing universe through which Moon Man can live as a character.

but moon man does not really develop as a character. he is one dimensional and predictable. would anyone but the moon crew (if even them) notice if you just changed the site titles and recycled an old moon man site? that says something. the problem with moon man sites in general other than the racism is that they stress quantity over quality. that being said, this site is better than the vast majority of moon man sites which is why i did not automatically 1 it.

But Moon Man has evolved. He went from a simple musician to a racist, space and time traveling, self aware, calmly maniacal anti-hero who is actually in love with Audrina Patridge.

i guess you are right. i guess i feel he de-evolved. i like moon man better when he would sing me songs.

He still does that. :)

i also think there is so much you can do with moon man that it is a shame to limit him to misogyny and racism. i particularly don't find that kind of humor to be amusing.

Moon man is about many things. If all YTMND supported Moon man, there would be no need to spread the word of Moon man. Downvoters fuel Moon man mania, and are very important in the Moon man debate. I wouldn't change a thing about the Moon man fad if given the choice. Everyone from the Moon Crew to the Downvoters are crucial parts of the Mooniverse. Moon man as a fad is every bit as complex as the political climate of this country. When you really think about what Farkle started, it's humbling. kkk
