I'm a big fan of Life too. Also on my list of favorites in no particular order is Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Rice Crispies, Coco Crispies, Frosted Mini-Wheats, Golden Crisp, Peanut Butter Crunch, Cap'n Crunch's Oops! Choco Donuts, Special K, Alpha-Bits, Waffle Crisp, Apple Cinnamon Cheerios, and Lucky Charms. Honeycomb used to be one of my favorite favorites but Post Cereal has been pussying out lately cuz old women organizations with sand in their c*nts say it isn't healthy and change the recipe. F that!

Frosted Mini-Wheats, Corn Chex, Crispix, Frosted Flakes, Life, Cheerios, and maybe Corn Pops...I never liked Lucky Charms...marshmellows in milk...yucky

5 for trying. Everyone always understates the importance of 'obvious systemwide structural failure' which was readily apparent from the beginning and was quickly realized as soon as housing prices started dropping. Those bad mortages were good investments for the companies as long as the houses themselves increased in value. After all, the banks own the forclosed homes. However, when their investments started decreasing in value and the payments stopped, they lost money on both fronts. Panic.

Here's my impression of Ron Paul: "College students, I am here to make you happy. Blah blah freedom. Blah blah Facebook. Blah blah sorority girl sex. Vote for me! (And ruin it for Obama like Perot did for Bush in 2000!)"

October 5th, 2008

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like a redistrubtion of wealth on a scale of one of Marx's wet dreams.
October 6th, 2008
(0)
Somehow, I don't see Marx having wet dreams over the rich sucking the life out of the working class, one bailout at a time. Quite the opposite.
October 6th, 2008
(0)
yeah, well that's the whole problem with analysis of economics as political economy, as a complete system of social relations. In any political economy the government almost inevitably becomes the main tool for "capitalist" evil. Taking issue with just the government is too redneck though, I guess. Plus it doesn't give us the same level of permission to hate rich people.
