do you also remember the part in the movie when he's like "oh, we are just up to our knees in terrorist!" i guess he was supposed to be droppin' some F bombs in the original version.
June 5th, 2007
(6)
Should have put Captain Falcon in there.

Once there was a blue moon. THis moon was reddish in hue and had a purple spot on it. I called the purple spot fuschia. It was mind bobbling with spine tingling styles of grey.

Ever since I saw thing on TBS I've been saying Mr. Falcon instead of M'er F'er.

Me too.

The Fox edit of Die Hard with a Vengeance changes the sandwichboard of "I Hate N*gg*rs" to "I Hate Everyone"
June 5th, 2007
(1)
"i hate everyone" is what was actually written on the sign when they were on location.
(5)
Also in Casino when they play it on USA they change Pesci's line of "Jew mother f*cker" to "Jew Money Grubber". Which i think is a geat line on its own.
June 7th, 2007
(0)
Damn how can they even SHOW Casino with the pure amount of F bombs?

Finish the scene with Captain Falcon exploding.

The Big Lebowski has the best TV edit of all time. "Do you see what happens Larry when you FIND A STRANGER IN THE ALPS?!"
June 5th, 2007
(0)
Let's cut the crap, Von. I've only got one thing to say to you: STRIKE... THIS... (SILENCE)... GUY... OUT!
June 6th, 2007
(0)
I thought the dub is 'have fun with a stranger in the alps", and yes, its worse than this. my favorite visual dub though is i saw Showgirls on TNN/SpikeTV and they drew on black bras on all the topless women instead of deleting scenes. it was hilarious.
June 6th, 2007

See, why can't they do this in the UK? :[

The drawn-on bra technique can also be seen on Sopranos reruns on A&E. Also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YHXdnWLvH4

the one following that is better, but it's essentially gibberish... I can't for the life of me decipher it.
June 7th, 2007

Also, Half Baked has a pretty good one: "Marijuana is not a drug! I once sucked feet for coke. You ever suck any feet for marijuana, pal?" That's a pretty brilliant edit...

Needs more Captain Falcon
June 5th, 2007

Needs immediate addition to "Live Free or Die Hard" trailer with the jet, replaced with Captain Falcon, then it blows up and shows this clip

Worst I ever saw was from Office Space. Instead of a "Federal Pound-me-in-the-ass prison" it was a "pound me into ash prison"

Ahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, no one ruins a movie like TBS.

Where'd you get this?
June 5th, 2007
(2)
I've seen bus banners that said "YIPPIE KI YAY MO" and "John 6:27" or something like that. The MO part was cut off.
June 5th, 2007
(1)
Yeah, way to advertise a movie w/ the one line that'll be sure to disappoint (No M'Fer in a PG13 movie)
June 5th, 2007
(0)
Oh yeah, I know what you're talking about. I've seen that on a few of the Metros. And capungo, I think PG-13 movies are allowed to have one "F" word in it.
June 6th, 2007
(0)
You can have an F, not a MF. And the fact that the new Die Hard has a tie-in with Arby's should indicate just how much of a bastardization it is.
June 6th, 2007
(0)
Now you're allowed two F words in a PG-13 movie. Proof being the movie 16 Blocks (also starring Bruce Willis)

"Pop quiz, animal!" - TBS dub of Speed
June 6th, 2007

Mr. Falcon would be proud.
June 6th, 2007
(0)
When the bad guy is on the plane, he uses the call sign "falcon" or "Mr. Falcon".......... so I guess using Mr Falcon in place of motherf*cker not only matches the dub but also somehow coincides with the badguy's name.

I'll believe it when I see it.

"This is ri-gosh-darn-iculous" ~ TBS dub of Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me
June 6th, 2007

Have you seen TV version of Me, Myself, and Irene? Now that is probably the worse editing i have ever seen.
June 6th, 2007

on the TBS version of Striptease there's this part where the bodyguard is confronting a pervert and the guy goes "Suck my toe!" and the bodyguard says "whip the little guy out!"
June 6th, 2007

I cried when I saw this on TV... they shouldnt even play Die Hard if they cant allow McClain to say "YIPPIE KAYAY MOTHER F*CKER!"

At first I thought it was a Spanish version. Also, I remember the Die Hard With a Vengeance sign. It did indeed say "I hate everyone" This being the first time I saw the movie, it confused me why it upset those guys so much.

Sometimes when I'm alone at night, I like to push my penis as far into my body as I can and then rub around as if it where a vagina... although there's always my testicles hanging out that ruins my fantasy. I had an aunt who was... bald and repugnant. She used to babysit when my parents wanted to get away for a bit. Whenever I "misbehaved", she'd dress me up in old outdated girls clothes, tie my hands behind me back, put a ball-and-gag on my mouth and make me stand in the toilet. When I'd refuse, she'd
June 7th, 2007

hold my nose closed, with the ball-and-gag still on I remind you, until I would nearly pass out and she would let go just as my legs started to buckle underneath my own weight. Then she would just hold me in her arms and stroke my hair until I would fall asleep. She told me I would make a pretty girl, and that is why I have the fantasy that I do, doctor….

I dunno, I still think Predator on TV is hilarious, replacing bullsh*t with BAAALLONNEEY!!!!
June 7th, 2007

i still can't believe they used that voice over for bruce willis.. it sounds nothing like him at all
June 7th, 2007
(0)
I think they even dubbed-over another character calling the main villian "Mr. Falcon" earlier in the movie so the hack-job at the end actually made sense...
June 7th, 2007

Sometimes, bleeping is better... a lot better.

My fav. dub in this movie is when McClane tells the reporter to "Joke off". They dub him over w/ the Villain's voice!
June 7th, 2007

good. "The single worst profanity dub in the history of cinema." WRONG SIR, WRONG. Big Lebowski, Fargo, and Pulp fiction all have better ones, as listed above.
