I'm not trying to prove anything.. I'm just laying it out here for people to decide for themselves

If anything these sites prove how generic music has become. I used to have a job where I could listen to the radio all day and I grew to hate music. For every standout, successful band there are dozens of imitators that music producers mold into the current hit.

From a Stabbing Westward FAQ: "Around 1993, when Stabbing Westward was recording Ungod, Stuart Zechman was playing guitar for both Filter and Stabbing Westward. For some reason he used the same guitar line for "Ungod" and "Hey Man Nice Shot". When both bands had been made aware of this, they made a decision for neither band to sue once the songs are released. By chance, "Hey Man Nice Shot" was released as the first single from Filter..." YOU LOSE! GOOD DAY, SIR!
