Also nuclear power plants don't even have weapons grade plutonium, not even close...

Oh no no, this sucker's electrical! But I needed a nuclear reaction to generate the 1.21 gigawatts of electricity! (lol, giga, not jiga)

i'm confused. the initial animation of a particle seperating the plutonium atom is a fission reaction however such an event takes place in a controlled nuclear power plant where single particles are fired at plutonium atoms through deuterium.... the description says somethin about compressing it the atom to a critical mass with TNT. get your sh*t together

Hahahaha! WIN! IT REALLY WORKS!

This is one of the best ytmnd's I've ever seen, both informative and lolous. You get five internets.

*yawn* at audio. It's like i haven't heard it 593275028357 times. Besides, what you've described won't create an atomic explosion. it take an immense amount of precision and calculation. Ever wonder why so many countries haven't made one? What you've described is a dirty bomb. Really, all you need for a dirty bomb is ANY radioactive material and an explosion.
November 17th, 2006

and 50 pounds is closer to 23 kg. 22.72727272 etc to be precise. Also, c*cks.

I guess he has some shock factor in putting what to our overworried and paranoid minds would be deadly information on the internet, if it could really work that way.

I see you added Homer for the Nuclear Power Plant part. That's good, but you didn't add Doc Brown for the part about buying plutonium from terrorists.

Not... terribly accurate. Check google Video for "physics for future presidents" and check out the nukes lecture. A plutonium bomb is no where near that easy to make. That said - still amusing.

This just wouldent work, its trying to make an implosion device but the density of the seperator will throw the othe half sphere off like a projectile and it wont go nuclear at all. You need focused detonation waves from multiple points for an implosion device, usually about 64.
November 18th, 2006

O.O........Just don't tell them how to make a hydrogen bomb.

When you find yourself wondering what music to use, do this. Type in "loop project" into the search function and pick a song. Don't rely on the standard overplayed fad songs everyone hears hundreds of times a day.

correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you have to be bombarding the plutonium with neutrons as it fuses...
November 19th, 2006

Lol, people say that this is trouble, but then remember that kids don't have access to plutonium.
