That doesn't mean that Kerry still is a snob who looks down on our US military.

I don't know why I thought the uninformed YTMNDers would understand the background of this joke.

theres multiple reasons - 1) the vast majority of your sites only exist to push politics 2) many users are kids and dont give a sh*t. theres TONNES of Bush bashing sites that are just as hated as this 3) its funny that you dont get the irony of using a song that makes fun of the military, to make fun of John Kerry for allegedly trashing the miliatary. man, you're bad at making ytmnds.

Do you guys even read? Bunch of retarded people on here think the Military is less educated. A Heritage Foundation survey (not of opinions, but of factual college degrees and salaries) shows that for their age range, the military has a much higher percentage of degreed professionals and higher paid salaries when compared to the civilian population.

Sitsu you lose for saying the song was meant to make fun of the military. Do you even know Matt and Trey's political affiliation? The song makes fun of an attitude, but they aren't making fun of our military.

I know their political affiliation. however that song played as Team America were botching their missions, and the lyrics towards the end include unenthusiasm for Republicans, and absolutely no enthusiasm for books. It makes fun of the attitude more, but yes, in the movies context, you better believe they openly make fun of the military as much as they slap Hollywood around. Hell, in the South Park movie they blatantly at least implied the military was racist - Operation Human Shield anyone?

There ya go, all our US soldiers are racist. Good conclusion there.

I fail to see: 1) What's fun about this 2) What supposed "controversy" points could possibly be scored from this
November 1st, 2006

There are no points. It's just a funny come back at John for calling them stupid.

John Kerry, in the middle of a run of one liners poking fun at President Bush, poked fun at how being uneducated can get you stuck in Iraq. Now, this is either an out of context sweeping stab at the state of American education (which wouldn't be all that wrong, but would be out of place) or an obvious attack on the intelligence of President Bush and his lack of a plan to get out of Iraq besides "stay the course" and "don't cut and run" which is a lack of a plan rather than a plan.

If you ask me, it was the first. I mean, it was totally a willing decision for the troops to go to Iraq and then they were like, "oh, sh*t, you mean I can't leave whenever I want?"

John Kerry has held contempt for the U.S. Military since the 60's. He has openly stated that it's full of brutish uneducated racist masochists. At least have the courage to stand up for the convictions I say.

Korf, how is staying the course until we finish the objective not a plan? And i don't care what Kerry meant by the statement. If it was an attack on the troops, it would be just another thing to add on to the laundry list of sh*t he's done. If it was him calling Bush dumb, it just means he's unoriginal.
