Great - I've done a similar thing for years, except I leave anything with my personal information out, and fill it with any other miscellaneous junk mail, old tissues, condoms, etc. I'd hate to have to be the guy opening all the sh*t they likely get returned..

I've been doing this for years. I thought bricks at first. However, it actually works to mail rocks. Rocks are cheaper around these parts of the country, and the mail srevice has to deliver them, even though it's 'illegal' to leave something over a pound in the mailbox ;) ;) ftw

I had an uncle who would leave telemarketers (probably for 8 minutes, but not worth listening to for that time) on the phone & go do things, pretending that he was interesting but never coming back. I'll try this idea too.

I've been doing this for quite awhile now. Although I write NO THANK YOU with a badly drawn smile face so they don't think I'm doing it maliciously. They still keep sending them but I enjoy myself.

Good idea, though it's better to put heavy things in since it costs more postage.

Old idea, you have to add a new twist. I squirted some Fish Sauce into the last one so it'd smell like something dead.

In the book 'Steal this Book' they talk about a similar trick you can do with those magazine subscription post card things. You can tape it to a brick and the company has to pay the postage. You can also get rid of all your garbage this way.
