August 3rd, 2006
(0)
I really want to give you a five but.. please fix the sync!!
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
Cute song. But you're a bit retarded when it comes to: A) Spelling. It's right, not write. B) Synchronization. It's way off.
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
I seem to remember getting flamed for posting a YTMND with lyrics.
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
i thought he meant... "just write all night"
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
lol it fails and that's why it wins
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
It is losing its sync by a bit towards the end on firefox. Also "right".
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
I'm giving you a 4 instead of 3 cuz i gave the dorito guy a 3 and this is way better than that even though it isnt synced.
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
Can't....stop...listening.
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
"I've been trying to get this Haiku just RIGHT" not write. It's also synced terribly.
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
mispelling right : -4. Try AGAIN.
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
sync is suck, but I like the song
August 3rd, 2006

August 3rd, 2006
(0)
I woulda taken out the 'some' and the 'or' (for the first two)
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
upped from 2 to 4 for sync, but it'd be better if you put it back the way it was with displaying each word as it was spoken. it makes the whole # of syllables thing funnier.
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
it's a song! that's what ytmnd is for! (the song sucks)

What the...
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
Oh yeah, for those of you who do not "get it" allow me to educate your simple one star minds. A haiku has five syllables for the first line, seven for the next, and five for the last. A syllable is how many "sounds" are in the word you say. For instance, "instance" has two and "Syllable" has three.
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
auto-fail
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
While traditional English Haiku interpretations may have used a 5-7-5 syllable structure, modern haiku typically just try to be readable in a single breath http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haiku
August 3rd, 2006
(0)
Catchy. I want it now!
August 3rd, 2006

A really cool, clever song. It's a shame all you did was type up the lyrics to it and call that original.
August 4th, 2006

That's terrible. The song sucks, you didn't get the words right, and who cares?
August 4th, 2006
(0)
lol
August 4th, 2006

5 to counter the likely downvoters you will get by way of people simply not understanding what a haiku is
August 4th, 2006
(0)
love it.
August 4th, 2006
(0)
It is sync'd for me
August 4th, 2006
(0)
And xycos: There is nothing (as I understand it) in the English language closer to a morae than a syllable. I would think that if you were really upset about this you would lament the fact that Americans think ANYTHING 5-7-5 counts as a haiku, regardless of content. (See 7th comment, which still fails by American standards because "seven" has two syllables.)_
August 4th, 2006
(0)
Tally Hall rocks!
August 4th, 2006
(0)
haiku for YOU: YTMND, the morning I wake to see, a haiku greets mee

I think the song about telling somebody that you love them has been done before.
August 4th, 2006
(0)
Nice try
August 4th, 2006
(0)
Very original. That is enough for a five.
August 4th, 2006

August 4th, 2006
(0)
Excellent song, and I want it in full!
August 4th, 2006
(0)
p00pd00d, haikus are traditionally supposed to describe nature (iirc) but you know how most people think you can do anything with it... there is another name for the ones that don't involve weather, but I can't remember the name atm.
August 4th, 2006
(0)
every star is for the song only
August 4th, 2006
(0)
whats this song's name?
August 4th, 2006
(0)
That guy sucks at haikus. xP
August 4th, 2006
(0)
Extremely catchy. =D Also... syncs perfectly for my in Firefox. Not sure what all those other idiots are crying about the sync for. Seems just right to me.
(0)
The sync didn't work/for me, so I won't rate this/a "0" beats "1"
August 4th, 2006
(0)
Someone should tell the guy who wrote the song that hiakus don't have to rhyme.
August 4th, 2006

Haiku writing motherf*cker
August 4th, 2006

August 4th, 2006
(0)
and one more thing, he doesn't pronounce "forte" as fôrt-ay he says is like "fort" so you're a syllable off in that line. sorry to nitpick.

August 4th, 2006
(0)
It syncs in IE, they're all probably just Firefox-loving dogs.
August 4th, 2006
(0)
Changed my vote to a 1 to counteract all the NARVs. This is YTMND blasphemy, it's just a song that you typed the lyrics to. Yes, the song is catchy - but how does that make it a 5!??!?!?11/?1/?!?! No punchline, no wtf factor - nothing that makes a YTMND.
August 4th, 2006
(0)
A quite funny song! I would be glad to five this. You're the man now, dog!
August 4th, 2006
(0)
Someone needs to go back to english... "All night for you alright I'm through." is 8 syllables not 9...
(0)

August 4th, 2006
(0)
You kinda ruined how subtle and clever the original song lyrics were with this. Part of the greatness of it was hearing the song then realizing that it's all made up of broken haikus. But, it's nice to see another Tally Hall.
August 4th, 2006

August 4th, 2006

i'll add a comment by saying you should fix the line with "forte" and leave it as "fort-" as they leave out the last syllable of "forte" which is pronounced "for-tay"
July 31st, 2008

FAIL
August 14th, 2006
(-1)
sh*t... pure sh*t
October 1st, 2006

Actually, "forte" as in a proficiency is supposed to be pronounced "fort." "For-tay" is the pronunciation of an accented "forte`" that has to do with music.
