Like most of the snooty 70's f*ckwit-art-party-people, AIDS came a knocking, and that was that. You teens joke about AIDS now but you have no idea what it did when it came out and how it kicked a generation in the nutsack.
No, I'm not that old. I saw the results as a kid. Lanky husks, withering away and weaving tales about the glory years of carefree sex and mounds of coke. Some used to chill on the corner holding their nose in case it started to bleed. Some got AIDS and died. Some are f*cking braindead. I haven't seen them in ages, and thank God for that. Klaus Nomi is a small, unimportant, synth-sh*t look-at-me-I'm-an-even-gayer-Ziggy-Stardust-dickface in that period of time in NYC.
Well if you did you'd know that his act and antics were noticed by quite a few hoped up musicians in the 70's. Hence, he was part of the 70's snooty art/party/f*g scene. He just didn't decide to dress that way and sing his terrible songs in the 80's. You kids are really stretching it if you think this is some unknown genius performer. He was a cover artist who made lightfooted versions of popular songs.
