locke5, you've completely missed the point. American Idol was taken from the UK show Pop Idol, what was the need to add the name of the country it was being shown in? its a show of bullsh*t patriotism thats illdefined that IMO highlights a sense of insecurity

this just clarrifies my view of a braindead american, jesus christ! are you stupid! learn something about the second world war, Germany never set foot on british soil due to the RAF winning the battle of britain . And for assuming the US bombed britain!!?!??? ffs, they were fighting Germany. this wasnt vietnam where america were fighting North Vietnam but succeeding in bombing mainly South Vietnam, who they were apparently defending in upholding a corrupt capitalist government.

I have to agree america is pretty f*cked, I mean half of America thinks they won the vietnam war which was a civil war between North Vietnam and South Vietnam, but insulting America when your British makes no sense, it's not our fault our presidents a dumbass, and it's not your fault Tony Blair was Bush's bitch. But what I said about us bombing you proves that history in today's schools all depends on which country your from, in America you learn most of the wars america was in, they won.

BUT you have to admit we finished off World War II. We did what no other country would've done for 2 reasons, 1. Because most Allied nations didn't have the nuke and 2. because most countries didn't like the nuke. But lets all join together, British, American, Canadian, and others to hate the real enemy, the bastard French.

BTW, if you hate the idol shows, thats fine, so do I. But Pop Idol isnt British Idol because it started in Britian. Besides American Idol, there is Canadian Idol, Latin American Idol, Indian Idol, Australian Idol, Indonisian Idol, Malaysian Idol, and many others. So don't bash Americans because of it.
