Easiest way is to use firefox. Right click > View Page Info > Media Tab > Find the sound, and eighter download it straight from the YRMND or use the link to post it on a forum.

June 20th, 2006
(0)
LOL I'm glad I'm not the only one who rips the music this way. I thought there would be a more efficient, more GUI way of doing it, but alas, I am spartan.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
LOL! YTMND WITH FFX? FAIL
June 20th, 2006
(0)
Why did you ruin our secret avenue?!?!
June 20th, 2006
(0)
yarr
(0)
Lolz. That's how I originally stole the very music playing in the background of this. 5 for truth!
June 20th, 2006
(0)
I download the music while stealing. It's more professional.
June 20th, 2006

June 20th, 2006
(0)
Ah, thanks, I was looking for the PotC main theme thing.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
The funny thing is, while it was loading, the sound started playing before I got the image, and I was just thinking about "stealing" the pirates music...

June 20th, 2006
(0)
I thought everybody knew this 2 years ago and everybody did it?
June 20th, 2006
(0)
I wondered if other people did this too.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
Easiest way is to just look in your IE cache when it's loaded.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
That's how I got the tracks that I played on YTMND Radio. Hell, that could have been a screenshot from my comp! Except I use Shareaza instead of Limewire and Gaim instead of AIM...
June 20th, 2006
(0)
lol, that's funny.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
Old, if you didnt know this, your a f*cking douche who still hold his mic close to the speakers.

June 20th, 2006
(0)
Whoa it's a trick that I had in my forum signature for over a year, I'm impressed
June 20th, 2006
(0)
Shoosh, stop telling them!
June 20th, 2006
(0)
copy, paste, open flashget, yoink :D
June 20th, 2006
(0)
f*ck yea!
June 20th, 2006
(0)
The irony here is how POTC's music is used for this YTMND, probably without permission for a creative work.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
Remember: taking the exact same music file from someone else helps to save disk space on the YTMND content server
(0)
wtf are you talking about jpeg?
June 20th, 2006
(0)
boronic acid
June 20th, 2006
(0)
It is funny because that's how I saved it on my computer. I plan to share it with the future generations.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
That sh*t makes me laugh. it's funny 'cuz it's true.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
Wait..you actually do that to take music? Hell I only have to do a right click and a few left clicks....
June 20th, 2006
(0)
I just use DAP or SAVE AS, no need for haxors
June 20th, 2006
(0)
For teaching me how to get sound from other sites, I five you. :)
June 20th, 2006
(0)
YTMND is the new Napster
June 20th, 2006
(0)
If you go through that much trouble to get the music, you're an IDIOT. Firefox has a built in feature for that, so either you're going through unnecessary trouble, or you're not using Firefox. I thought YTMND was smarter than this.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
I remember when I thought I was hXc for doing this like 2 years ago and then i went on to google videos and youtube n sh*t like that but people had always beat me to it :'(
(0)
It is green.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
the balogna is in the nest, the pastrami is recyclable. ps: if you can hear the music, that means its already on your computer, all you have to do is copy it from temporary internet files. it isnt necessary to go into the http coding etc.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
Been doing it for years
June 20th, 2006
(0)
5, just because I jammed out to the pirate music.
June 20th, 2006
(0)

June 20th, 2006

June 20th, 2006
(0)
hey don't give away the magician's tricks!
June 20th, 2006
(0)
how come i cant take the music anymore? does it only work in firefox now? I used to able to use view source in explorer and hit ctrl F to find something ending with MP3 or something and i would find the link. Doesnt work anymore...whats the link to the music for this one? the theme kicks ass
June 20th, 2006
(0)
k nvm
June 20th, 2006
(0)
guys, you dont have to view the source, if you can hear it, its already on your computer, you just need to copy and paste it out of your TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES FOLDER.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
Or you could write a greasemonkey script that puts the music file as a link in the top right corner for each ytmnd viewed. Then just right-click save as.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
Wait, was it to show people that don't know, or accuse your "inspiration" for not crediting the sound/image source?
June 20th, 2006
(0)
ARRRRRRRRR!!!
June 20th, 2006
(0)
or you could just save as.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
Yep, I do that.
June 20th, 2006
(0)

(0)
in fact Description: mp3 download: http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=B010A214133903A6 (has all versions of it including one with my own background music)
June 20th, 2006
(0)
I knew how to do that ..but it opens with quicktime which is bullsh*t..because you have to have quicktime pro to actually download it.
June 20th, 2006

June 20th, 2006
(0)
What exactly were you downloading with Limewire, eh?
June 20th, 2006
(0)
Actually, you can do that in the "view page info" its easier to find the sound
(0)
im not complaining about stealing music...i do it all the time. we're all pirates of ytmnd.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
Strangely hilarious. Can't explain why.
(0)
and if you read the description my point was about not giving credit when you do it.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
lol i figured that out a couple days ago, i guess its not a secret anymore :(
June 20th, 2006
(0)
You use View Source? sh*t, that's too much effort. I use View Page Info -> Media -> Save As. For the Flash-based ones, I set my recording options to "Wave Out Mix," pull up Goldwave, and hit record.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
...Wait, giving "credit?" Like you want us to put in our descriptions "[name of user] stole this song before I did"?
(0)
no...i mean do what i did for this site. put the name of the movie. but yes, if you stole someone's version of a song, like the cosby ft. dre rap, directly from their site then give them credit.
June 20th, 2006
(0)
I am...
June 20th, 2006
