Perhaps you're just six years older and not as amused by the same crap. I agree, however. Stroker and Hootch is what got me to turn it off. Aqua Teen? Three jokes used for six years? BONUS!

maybe, but my wife says my sense of humor is just as childish.

Nice insight on AS. Man, Aqua just wasn't the same without Murphy. And damn was that new guy annoying.

damn dude, you took what i was thinking, and put it into ytmnd form. the two live action shows are thanks to a new "humor" trend that i have started noticing, and that REALLY pisses me off. apparently, it is now cool and funny to like that things that are so obviously stupid and unfunny that they give the layman cancer. (ie: peewee) the perpetuators of this rape of humor give said form of humor absolutely NO downtime, so, in essence it becomes cool and funny. sh*t, ran out of space.

example: they proclaim to like barney. to them, this is f*ckING HILLARIOUS!!! because it is so obviously uncool and stupid. the perpetuators of this sh*t are an emo subclass. while they dress like emos, they do not cut themselves (mostly) and are actually quite upbeat. i hate this group more than any other because they emobody everything brain dead about current culture; the form of "humor" formerly mentioned, drama (SO f*ckING MUCH OF IT!!! AAAGGHHH!), and the sh*tty "fashion" of shopping at ONLY hottop

(how i hate that damn store) and wearing those goddamn "skater" shoes. these are the same people who use AOL instant messenger. and like it. this trend is very heavily based in an ironic form of humor, and if current rates continue, it will be ironically funny to like funny things again. (ie: standup, normal jokes). it will progress so far into irony, that they will wear normal clothes and consider this to be cool. i realize that i have taken up 3 comments, but i hate this sh*t so very, very, much.

in conclusion, if you see someone particpating in this violent horrific rape of culture, hurt them. bad. i appologize for taking four comments, but anytime i see anything intellectual, i start thinking smart.

It's one thing to be mad about the live action bullsh*t, but everything before that was one shaky house of cards. I guess you expect them to always pick perfect shows, but life ain't like that. Fact is ATHF is the best TV show ever created, and it justifies it's own channel in itself. Yet somehow they have tons of other great shows. Putting Boondocks alongside shows like that racist superhero show which did suck so much I can't remember it's name is insane. Both are very similar in that they deal with race,

But where crappy stereotype superhero show is based entirely on trying to squeeze cheap laughs out of stale Richard Pryor jokes, Boondocks actually has a purpose. I hate all race related comedy by defaul and the fact I actually wanted to watch it says something. I don't know exactly what, but if nothing else it was a good show. My point is if you wanna get all preachy about a TV block, at least focus on the actual problem, which is sh*t like Pee Wee.

In closing, my personal opinion is that they are just testing the waters in a situation where they don't really need to be. Once they become their own channel, that's one thing to show weird shows at hours no one watches to see how it goes. But AS is a very specific timeframe, and half the best shows get shown rarely enough as it is.

great job on this other than being a little bit sloppy. i love adult swim's hannah-barbera shows like space ghost and birdman. slow down the frame with the boondocks and squidbillies.

Space Ghosr Coast to Coast started in 1994, not 2000. Not to mention alot of your other dates are incorrect, and you have everything out of order. Also, I sincerly hope the "ADGIF-UNREGISTERED" in the corner is there as a joke. As for the rest of, what looks like some kind of fith grader powerpoint presntation, I suggest you cite your sources.

I wasn't giving you a one in refrence to your vote on my sites, I actually feel very passionate about SGC2C and think you should at least know what year it started, just because you started watching it in 2000 after a fellow 5th grader told you about adultswim, doesnt mean that the rest of us haven't been watching it in the past, I haven't taken time out of my life to do such a mundane task of downvoting all of your sites, I dont care to see your sites and they're low enough as it is.

This really stirred the barrel. I don't think that if the style of comedy shifts to a different taste, then we should stab it in the face. I do see them pulling an "EPIC MTV MANUEVER," with putting live actions shows on a "cartoon network." That doesn't add up. Nice subject matter.

Good concept, and pretty true. But it needs editing and updating (namely with Metalocalypse).

Ugh, I hate those stupid 80's parody shows they're sh*tting out (Tim and Eric and Saul). It looks like some of the people at [AS] have been watching nothing but Napoleon Dynamite for the past 2 years and think Will Ferrel is actually funny. >o

I'm 1ing this because this is forum worthy, not a ytmnd. I could have read it twice as fast if it was all written out. Rating aside, I don't understand all the complaints about it not being a cartoon. You complain about Morel Orel's stop-motion and the other live-action shows, yet you applaud Robot Chicken, which is stop-motion. Also, if you think Robot Chicken is better than Tom Goes to the Mayor/The Boondocks, you have problems. 12 Oz. Mouse is the reason why I gave watching most of the time.

Somewhat true but you need to check your facts. Home movies was the first show to show on Adult Swim. Saved by the bell was a April Fools prank that lasted the whole month. Pee Wee Herman was technically Animated and live action together. I do miss their old shows Saul of the Molemen and 12oz mouse CRAP. They are not as strong but I do not feel they are lost yet.
