The pentagram doesn't necessarily mean satanism. And the 5 sided star is a major US symbol of our revolution. I do think this is quite deliberate. So many aspects of DC are symbolic. Not only is there no tree left standing between the straight line from white house, Lincoln memorial, all the way to the place directly in the center of the Capital rotunda in the basement of the Capital where they were supposed to put Washington's casket. But who knows if it's some random mason thing or not?

This is not true. There are streets directly underneath, and in fact there are roundabouts (such as dupont circle) on the end of each star corner. The streets are quite straight, though satellite imaging is not an exact science. In short, there probably is no Satanic motive here, but there is a clear and obvious pentagram or five sided star with enunciated circles and a white house, and the Washington Monument is precisely positioned to make this star apparent.

Yeah the points not the lines make the symbol, and it's masonic not satanic.
