Nintendo doesn't really need to compete with others. Nintendo never really tried hard to do so. Their games are so fundamentally different from the others that no matter what happens or how weak their systems are, they always come with good and refreshing games.

It's a bullsh*t statement. Nintendo opts to compete with every other console on the market if they enter into it. It's unavoidable. Just because you SAY you're not competing doesn't mean that the MARKET will create the competition for you, hence ALL THESE f*ckING Wii vs PS3 YTMNDS.
