When I saw the background was a gif, I figured there'd be a loud noise and disturbing picture coming. It's much better leaving people expecting that. Good job.

I echo Dji: Get Boomaga to read this, or perhaps do an overelaborate reading of it yourself... Otherwise, it's still refreshing to see something cultured every once in a while, as much as it does lack the humour of overreaction.
February 14th, 2006

Poe is one of my favorite authors...

I fived, but really, Poe isn't that good. there are tons better authors out there. Poe was what is now knows as a depressing goth kid. His poetry lacks any real substance. yet you all jusp the gun to show how cultered you are. "Poe! lol, da raven! how

i dont see what the big deal is about edgar allen poe...so what he had a crappy life, does that mean i should read his literature?
February 14th, 2006
(0)
"i dont see what the big deal is about edgar allen poe...so what he had a crappy life, does that mean i should read his literature?" He was a great writer and defined an entire literary movement, the crappy life just added to his literature
February 14th, 2006

February 14th, 2006
(0)

February 14th, 2006
(0)
It is a great poem, but I don't understand what makes this a YTMND. If it was animated I'd 5 it, at least it's unique.

February 14th, 2006
(0)
Good choice for a ed. ytmnd; But you should have gone with Vincent Price's reading of this. This one is kinda weak.
February 14th, 2006
(0)
Historic-Metal how can you compare a sound clip from BTTF to an entire poem? You make no sense GTFO!
February 14th, 2006
(0)
Ditto for the Boomaga. :D
February 14th, 2006
(0)

February 14th, 2006
(0)
Pfft, what an emo.
February 14th, 2006
(0)

February 14th, 2006
(0)
F Yeah. You know why? Poetry pwns your soul. Poe has left his shadow upon us indeed. 5'd hardcore. Art is the soul of society.
February 14th, 2006
(0)
Obviously the raven is a classic; Nevertheless, i see little point here other than to amplify that fact. Which everyone already knows. But I am always for a ytmnd that is out of the normal fad-vein, regardless of its purpose.
February 14th, 2006
(0)
i enjoy the works of poe
