YTMND Badge (Beta 3)
By popular request, badge for the YTMND Defender people, modeled after a military shoulder flash. This is not an ebaum war badge, honest! Final version is up: http://ytmndefenders.ytmnd.com/

If you sold'em, I'd buy'em. And I used alot of contractions right there, some of them weren't even legal.

Once I'm happy with it, I'll make a wee animated forum avatar version. Does anyone know a good gif animator?

First Airborne? Infantry? Specialized Warfare? Yellow trims with yellow letters will go nicely with the red and black

Redone in gold. Lighting & texture render was a little different, too.

I think you could add a small icon in the bottom tip, like a cursor or something. Just an idea, though.. it's already kickass as is.

Looks real nice. Only thing I'd change is rotate the stars so they're right-side up oriented relative to the stripe.

Needs Sean Connery or Lindsay Lohan's face on it somewhere

I'm thinking of putting a sword lengthwise down the badge to get rid of that 'blank space'

Is 'special ops' the best title for YTMND-day vets? I mean, 'veteran' sounds kinda cheesy, and 'cyberterrorist' sounds too derogatory.

Very nice, could somehow be better, I just cant put my finger on it

Is it perhaps that the text is a little -too- crisp? Or perhaps the fonts? I'm still not satisfied with 'special ops' either.

Wow. I can't wait to get one so i can tell my grandkids olde-tymie war stories. Change the text to "YTMND: Defenders of the Internets" for added glory. Other than that, I am quite seduced.
