Go! Go! Nabeshin! (Watanabe Shinichiro, not to be confused with Watanabe Shinichi the guy who did Cowboy Bebop) Go get that ball-swinger!!! Nabeshin debuted in Excel Saga (and he also directed it) he show up randomly in all the series he directs, including Puni Puni Poemy, Tenchi Muyo GXP, Nerima Daikon Brothers (a great parody of Blues Brothers) and The Wallflower. I'm a YTMND-er and I love anime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
