I remember discovering that by accident when I left the map screen on while talking to a friend on the phone. I was like "OMG! Mario Paint song!" I heard somewhere that song is considered Kazumi Tataka's (The guy who composed the soundtrack for Yoshi's Story, and Mario Paint) "theme song." He tends to sneak it into games he works on sound for. It was also in Link's Awakening, and Animal Crossing.
