hey father what if it is watching stuff from youtube that is from the past? or things from that past like epic rap battles of history, death battles and other youtube shows that are from the past but still have new episodes?

00s nostalgia is the only thing keeping me sane someday. YTMND is a part of that. I still can't believe it's been a decade since the end of the world.

...also "sane" is a very relative term, but you get what I mean. >_>

Thanks for not using the Sixpence None the Richer version. I used to hear that every day at my retail job before I became crazy successful.

" Don’t Dream It’s Over " is a
Song by Crowded House ‧ 1986 .

This was played at the 2016 Democratic national convention .

It might have predicted a Trump victory because of how empathetic and " low energy " it has always been .

I've left this on loop for like ten times now. I just stopped everything I was doing and really started contemplating that I've been here for twenty years.

Every time I get together with houseofcards (my real life younger brother), it's no exaggeration that 10% or so of pur conversations relate to dumb YTMND anti-fad in-jokes/shitposts/dumb site ideas that we should have made back in the day when the iron was hot.

It's weird because 2011 was exactly the point in which I finally got my shit together, went back to college, and got a proper job and some semblance of a normal life. I can pass pretty well as a normie now, and there have been times at work where some guys are talking about YTMND on Slack and I'm so tempted to out myself as one of the more infamous shitposters but I never do.

I love this place and you guys so much. I never want this place to die. I may have axed pretty much every aspect of my internet life pre-2011, but YTMND will forever live rent free in my head.
