almost there. shit still needs a signature. also, the DADT repeal overshadows the squashing of the Dream Act nicely. good politicking.

funny politicz... Obama would fly from Hawaii to sign the repeal of DADT... he'll probably rush over to congress on foot to do it.

sure, it's an easy win for him. the only people he'd piss off doing it weren't going to vote for him anyway.

Onion said it best: Gay advocates fight for right to love men, kill men

I always thought it was the bullets and bombs that kill men....

I was in the Army before DADT was implemented, and there were gay people serving back then. Most of them were in the Navy, thanks to the Village People.

The repeal of DADT is good news for me. If I ever wanted to reenlist, I can. I recently found out from Umfuld that I'm totally gay.

yeah, now all members of the navy don't have to worry about getting thrown out when they cuddle up at night.

Cultures still have a way of sorting things out. The new unwritten policy will become: We never asked, you don't tell unless you want a sock party.

A.K.A. you should have better things to be doing than shouting from the rooftops that you like to sleep with men. (why DADT ever applied to lesbians is a mystery to me, you'd think that's what the army would want for a females)
