loL you fool, you were never supposed to go down Corridor C, if you paid attention to Dr. Dressner at the beginnig of the mission this would be obvious. You need to wait by the guard rail until you hear and explosion, go through the exploded wall and climb down the wall

but when i tried to go down corridor c, the security loudspeaker says "THIS AREA WILL BE ISOLATED FOR QUR'ANTINE" and the door resets and I can't get back to the room with the engineer.

wow, well that means you never picked up the Blue Scanner in the jungle area. you can't fix it now Your gonna have to just go up the stairs twice and back down before the door opens, and even then you'll only get the Okay Ending, where everyone goes home with out defeatingthe super copter
