Honestly, I'm sick and tired of people saying Windows sucks. I haven't gotten a single blue screen since XP came out. It was an old '98 problem and was fixed.

"Honestly, I'm sick and tired of people saying Windows sucks. I haven't gotten a single blue screen since XP came out. It was an old '98 problem and was fixed." Whoa, hey, chill! I've always been a Windows fanboy. I hate Macs!

...I'm happy now. *fixes vote*

Yea, I haven't gotten a blue screen for a long time. I'm gonna wait a while before I get Vista though, it might suck.

I'm not a Windows fan boy but I hate Apple and their ugly OS. Rounded corners and bubbles are for babies. Linux is more secure but can it run all my apps? No. And BSODs are old news, anyone who still gets them needs to upgrade past 98.

I think the red screen is only going to be for boot loader problems, i don't think it's going to be what they use

"I haven't gotten a single blue screen since XP came out." That's because windows XP is set to automatically reboot upon a system crash now instead of give a blue screen. You can turn that off if you want to see it because they still happen. :p

Goes a little fast, but funny.
June 23rd, 2006

First, lol 3d red screen :) Second, XP has the option (preset in most computers) to automatically restart the computer instead of getting a BSOD, simply because Microsoft thought this would be less scary for us mortals. So, if you've ever "reboot-crashed", especially in multimedia intensive programs like editing software, games, or whilst on the internets, you should have gotten a BSOD. Turn off the option, and you will.

5'd for Porcupine Tree
(0)
honestly i'm getting sick and tired of the BSOD jokes. Yeah they were pretty cutting edge 10 years ago, now not so much. Furthermore XP doesn't have BSOD's
June 23rd, 2006

Sorry about the speed, but I really can't make it slower. ... OH, CRUD. You're right, that is Porcupine Tree! Whoops!
June 23rd, 2006

oh damn, at least the blue screen is sorta calming. The red screen will probably make me sh*t my pants
June 23rd, 2006
(0)
Also, I DO know what the RSOD really looks like (I read Wikipedia.), I was just taking and running. And I have gotten BSODs on XP before, like when I removed the CD-ROM drive while the computer was still on.
June 23rd, 2006
(0)
Oh, and the multi-BSOD comes from my history of a Pentium II with Win98 before I got an Athlon.

They should replace it with an image of HAL 9000, its not like they couldn't buy the rights to it :P and it'd be damn hilarious to have people call in about HAL9000 IS IN MY COMPUTER I NEED HELP BEFORE HE LOCKS ME OUTSIDE THE AIRLOCK!

You are completely correct, but I have had a history of using an old Win98 computer that BSODs when you breathe at it. Also, XP does BSOD, I've encountered a few myself.

This is pretty cool but you really should slow down the text a bit. I'm a pretty fast reader and was having trouble getting to the last few words of the sentence on most of them.

That 3d red screen along with the sound made me piss myself :D

Good times.

It looks kindda cool, though. You can't argue with that. If your going to see that screen all the time, it better be worth the while, right?

nice. you do realize.. the look an feel of vista is pratically copied from Macs 10.3. really i've looked at the features. not that ripping of of apple is anything new for microsoft.

Wow, you must fail at life if you get that many BSoDs. I've had my PC for 3 years and have never had one.

February 23rd, 2007

well made and quite amusing but the BSOD has gone the way of the dodo... only people who get them now are morons who cant work there PC, and not to dampen the joke but microsoft would never release a red screen of death, as gay as they are they pay a crew of emotional experts to come up with the best colours to keep people calm... Red is not a soothing colour
February 25th, 2007

lol, windows!

Your text moves to fast, and that joke with the blue screen went way to long
