NES Picard Song (original)
I'm shocked this apparently hasn't been done yet. While both fads are old news... it had to be done. An alternate version is at http://nespicard2.ytmnd.com/

*begs for an explanation of how to make NES-sounding music the way you did*
February 28th, 2006
(0)
Well, making the NES music the way I did isn't very easy, but you just use the tools at http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Denei/9628/ - there's a little tutorial in the "Make NSF" section. You'll also need an NSF player to hear the results.
February 28th, 2006
(0)
A much easier way is to use http://nesdev.parodius.com/nt2/ - but it's not as flexible and I don't think it can do digital sounds like voices.
February 28th, 2006
(0)
Correction: NerdTracker DOES have digital sound support.

It is good, but the NES could _not_ make that music.
February 28th, 2006
(0)
dalponis - what do you want, an NES ROM to prove it? The NES most definitely can make that music, it'd just be too big to actually put in a video game. ;)
