Having been on IMDb two years, I've had my fair share of idiots. But that has to stand out.

it is funny. However that's usually how he was credited before he got famous. He was typecast as "the black guy" quite often.

Oh come on. He's lucky to even get a credit for the role! And look at the cast. "Black Guy" for a then unknown extra is pretty straight forward to telling you who played him. Would you prefer "Criminal"? That is another option for his credit.

Is it really racistic to call a black guy a black guy?

No, but it's racist to call him "Black Guy" while calling other people "Clipboard Guy #3"

Why is it racist to call him a black guy? It's just being descriptive. Samuel L. Jackson is 1) black 2) male. "Black Guy" is acceptable, unless they had a name for his character.

By knowing Michael Rooker is playing Terry in the movie, I just plugged it in to imdb, and went to extended credits.

Ummmmm... How is it racist to call someone a black guy? You politically correct f*ggot. If they had listed him "N*gg*r with f*cked up hair cut", then perhaps. Besides, those are the official credits, not IMDB, douche

Not sure if this is racism exactly, but I guess you could take issue with the distinction of his race being brought up at all--i.e. if the character was white, should the actor have been credited as "White Guy"? How about something more descriptive of his role in the movie like "Guy on the street"?
